Danielle Lloyd has disclosed that she is expecting her fifth child.
The model currently has four sons: Archie, 10, Harry, 9, George, 7, and Ronnie, 3, with ex-husband Jamie O’Hara, and Ronnie, 3, with electrician husband Michael O’Neill.
Danielle has revealed that she and Michael considered moving overseas for gender selection treatment before the lockdown, but in the end, she conceived normally and hopes the child, due in November, would be a little girl.
And, after exploring gender selection in order to have a much-desired baby daughter, Danielle has revealed that she has done everything she can naturally to ensure she gives birth to her inert joy – a baby girl.
However, since it is not legal in the UK, she may have had to go abroad to get it – which turned unrealistic during the pandemic.
Gender selection involves the mom undergoing IVF before embryos are gender-selected and sent to the womb.
“I can’t wait to become a family of seven,” she told Closer magazine, “but I know there’s a chance it’ll be another boy – having five boys would be totally mad!” “Of course, the main thing I want is for the baby to be healthy, and if it’s not a girl – we’ll just try again after!”
In the past, Danielle has made no secret of her desire to bring a girl into her brood.
Her pregnancy dreams were thwarted after she was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis, all of which can impair a woman’s fertility.
Following the diagnosis, she had to undergo surgery, and her plans to have another child were placed on hold.
The pair had been on a tight rota since reading advice on how to have a baby girl naturally to offer themselves the greatest chance of welcoming a baby girl. Her most recent child was conceived naturally.
